Millie and I wish to express our deepest condolences to Claudia and Frank.
We have been friends since we first met in the early 90ties . John loved to play golf and a host of golfers from several leagues are grateful for the many, many years that John kept the handicaps and set matches so that we could all play on a level scoring field.
John greatly enjoyed the banter at lunches following the matches where the players discussed the score they shot and the score they should have shot.. He liked golf jokes and I enjoyed many competitive rounds where we battled the golf course and each other or the opposing team and in the end regardless who won, we took off our hats and shook hands in the best spirit of the game.
John served his nation as a distinguished pilot and Lt. Colonel flying refueling tankers in wartime conditions . As a fellow Air Force Officer, I looked up to John as a leader and was proud to be his friend.
May you fly high John and reach out and be cradled in the arms of God .
We will all miss you but we will never forget you.
