Obituary of Joseph Charles Foceri

Joseph C. Foceri, 79, of Trinity, FL passed away peacefully on July 8, 2021, surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elena “Helen”, and his brother, Anthony. He is survived by his children, Christopher, Kim, Kara (Billy), and Dana; his grandchildren, Carmen, Kaitlyn (Blake), Sarah, Ava, and Aiden; and great-granddaughter, Jordyn. He was born in Manhattan, New York and raised in Astoria, New York. He raised his family on Long Island, and in 1989, he relocated to Florida with his family. He served his country as a sergeant in the US Army during the Vietnam War, and was awarded a Purple Heart. Joe was a sports fanatic and trivia buff. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and billiards. Above all, he was a family man who would do anything for those he loved. May he rest in peace. “In these moments of heartbreaking grief…remember the only reason we have an empty space is because we were blessed with someone who loved us so beautifully, it occupied an entire part of our soul.”
