Obituary of Deborah Ann Cruz

Deborah “Debbie” Ann Cruz (Pinkston) was born on December 27, 1956 in Cherry Hill, NJ. She is survived by her daughter Jaclyn Cruz, granddaughter Isabel Cruz and brother Patrick Roche. Debbie grew up in New Jersey and Southern California. She attended Fullerton Junior College and started her career in Accounting at the 7-Up Corporation where she worked for 24 years in California. Debbie met the love of her life in 1981, Armand Cruz and had Jaclyn in 1983. Debbie, Armand, and Jaclyn moved to Florida in 2003 to start a new life with their Florida family. Sadly Armand passed away in 2006. Debbie continued her career in accounting here in Florida working for IFCO Inc since 2013 where she was a valued and loved employee and co-worker. Debbie had a passion for her family and friends. Her love for her daughter Jaclyn and Isabel was so strong and everlasting. Debbie loved being a Nana to Isabel and was extremely close and protective of her. They would enjoy taking trips to Disney, coloring, and playing games. Anyone that knew Debbie noticed her infectious smile and laugh. She was a dog lover and had many pets over the years. She is survived by Cookie and Daisy who will miss her very much. Debbie passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Largo Medical Center. A public viewing service will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Morgan Funeral Home at 6025 Trouble Creek Rd, New Port Richey, FL 34653 A funeral service for Debbie will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10895 Hamlin Blvd, Largo, FL 33774. Following the funeral service will be an interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater, FL. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations for the family to help with expenses for her daughter, granddaughter and incoming granddaughter as they adjust to life without their mother and Nana.
