Sending my sincere condolences to Alan's family. His passing was such an unexpected and tragic loss to all. I will always remember the love he had for his children, grandchildren, and little great grandson. I know he can feel all their sadness and tears. Alan was always there for all of them , for every occasion I would see him there, even if it was in pictures of all the events. He touched their hearts forever and for that his memory will live on with all of them. His spirit will still be there for all the events that go on in their lives. Try to smile when you think of him, open your hearts, he will hear your prayers.
With Sincere Sympathy
Angela ( family friend )

Alan was a very special man. He was my Brother in Law, but to me he was much more. I knew Alan for almost my entire life, as a matter of fact I don’t remember a time when I didn’t know him. Alan was like a second father for my entire childhood, almost every milestone in my early life can be traced back to Alan somehow being involved. There was never a time when he could not be counted on for whatever I needed, for better or worse, Alan was always there to help me, guide me or rescue me. To this day I remember his work ethic and his generosity and try to emulate them, but most importantly I remember his big heart and his willingness to help others, I try to live in the example left upon me from him. He was not a saint, he made mistakes as we all do, but the man at the core was the best role model anybody could ask for. Throughout his life he touched so many lives, but none as much as his children and grandchildren. He was a very lucky man and he knew it.
If wealth could be measured in impressions left on others, respect of friends and a legacy of happy memories and a loving family, then I’d say Alan left us as a millionaire.
Rest in Peace Alan.
Love always,
Sal

ALAN EARNEST WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE EPITOMY OF WHAT A MAN SHOULD BE KIND,LOVING,THOUGHTFUL,GENEROUS,HE WOULD HELP ANYONE WITH A "DROP OF A HAT" SOMETIMES YOU COULD SEE HE WAS STRETCHED A LITTLE THIN BUT HE WOULD GET SOME SLEEP WAKE UP AND DO IT ALL AGAIN!! HE WAS A GOOD FRIEND AND A LOVING FATHER HE JUST ADORED HIS CHILDREN AND IT IS NOT A STRETCH OF THE HUMAN IMAGINATION THAT HE WOULD BE THE SAME ROCK OF LOVE AND STABILITY TO THE NEXT GENERATION. I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN HIM. HE WAS TAKEN WAY TOO SOON .ALAN .REST WITH OUR GOD OF PEACE WE ASK THAT YOU RECEIVE OUR LOVED ONE FROM DEATH INTO ETERNAL LIFE.AMEN RESPECTFULLY AND LOVINGLY ALWAYS EILEEN
