I will treasure and miss exchanging letters with you over the years which always bridged our distance quite nicely. I carry fond memories of many visits and am so glad that we were able to fit in that magical Gator football game together. Thank you for being a great listener, storyteller, humorist, and Grandma.
Love and hugs always - may you be at full peace now with Grandpa surrounded by eternally beautiful flowers.

Grandma McCall as I would say to my mom, but I would just call "Grandma", "Grandma" was a beautiful grandma. We would visit the farm in Gainesville for spring break. Grandma made delicious cookies. I really liked to see what new plants she planted from flowers to the blueberry bushes that were outside the porch by the fence. She had an awesome life and was very lucky to live to 95. What an accomplishment. I love you, Grandma. I know you are beautiful in heaven and seeing Grandpa again.

Gert was the most extraordinary person I have ever known. I have so many memories growing up next door to Gert and her family. But the one that’s my favorite memory is going to midnight mass and the faith that was instilled in me by the example Gert led is still so much a part of my life today.
mom, I will miss you until we meet again.
I will love you forever.
Love Terri Armstrong

My condolences to the McCall family.
Although I only met Gert a short time ago, she will always be in my memory. The sweetest person I have ever met and the biggest smile that just lit up a room.
My favorite memory is when we all took a walk down the block and Gert wanted some lemons off a Neigbors tree. I asked her if she wanted me to go pick it off and she said yes so I did. We all felt like little kids being naughty lol. But the best part was so did she and oh what a smile.
Love you Gert. You will be missed.
Love Dee
