My Aunt Marie.....aka (RED), as I was also called by my friends in East Side High. I remember going to Delaware and spending a fabulous and memorable weekend with all my beautiful cousins. My sister Diane and I never wanted to leave. Well I feel that Aunt Marie is in good company with all who went before her..... Keep an eye on Diane for me Aunt Marie. Love you and will miss you dearly. I'm glad I made your 90th Birthday it was a ***BLAST*** like you.. May you rest in eternal peace. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. To me she was the original Mother Theresa.

I WAS MY MOTHER'S FAVORITE...
I was her favorite because I was her first child.
I was her favorite because I gave her - her first grandchild.
I was her favorite because I was the first to graduate college.
I was her favorite because I'm with her now.
I was her favorite because I was her caretaker.
I was her favorite because I started the move to Florida.
I was her favorite because I was her baby girl.
I was her favorite because I was her first boy.
I was her favorite because I had a son to carry on the family name.
I was her favorite because I was the baby.
I was my mother’s favorite because....
I WAS HER CHILD.

Grandmom was an amazing woman who spoke her mind and wasnt afraid to be who she was. I'm sure people disagreed with her but she had a way of not allowing that determine whether she liked you and every person I knew ended up loving and respecting her. I personally wasnt familiar with anyone who didnt think she was the greatest.
My favorite memory was how, after receiving her drivers license, she decided to make a trip to Lums Pond in Delaware. Now this should of been a simple drive on some backroads and taken about 20-30 minutes to accomplish. Instead, an hour and a half later, she'd paid over $10 in tolls (?) and decided it wasnt going to happen and went home.
When asked about how this happened (this is the best part) she responded by saying well, "we just got to talking and lost track of time". In other words even a totally screwed up day/trip wasnt a bad day in her mind as long as you were in the company of the people you love. I dont recall who she was with that day but I'm sure whoever it was had one of the best days of their lives because they were with her!!
Love You Grandmom!!

Our deepest condolences to the entire family during this time.
I can confirm the fact that she definitely loved deep sea fishing. The picture that I posted is hanging in my hallway to remind of one of the many great memories’ deep-sea fishing with MoM. Yes, she landed the Trophy Red Fish (48 inch long) all by herself.
An amazing woman………….and she will truly be missed.
Her kindness was contagious and her memory will live on forever.
Love Always

Marie was like a mother to me and a fishing buddy. The world is a sadder place today. She was a true free spirit and loving person. In the 27 years I knew her I do not remember her saying a derogatory comment about anybody or anything - except the fish that got away.
My condolences to the family. Be grateful that Marie was a wonderful person.
My family and I will miss her.
Her son in-law, Joel.

Aunt Marie was a younger sister (by 15 months) to my father, George. Although they kept in touch through the years, it was difficult to visit because we lived on different coasts.
Early to mid-2000’s cousin Ariel brought her mother from Northern California to Southern California to see her brother (and his family). My father was so delighted he kept saying, “It does my heart good to see you, Red.” He called her “Red” because of her natural hair color growing up.
As with all the Collucci siblings, their wit and sense of humor was second to none. The weekend-long visit was filled with funny childhood stories, jokes, constant teasing and much laughter. It was such a joy to watch them together....and yes.......my face hurt from laughing so hard.
They are both gone now, but I swear I can hear them teasing and laughing in heaven with family members who were waiting for them (their parents, aunts and uncles, brother Charles and sister Barbara). Someday we’ll all be together again and the laughing will go on and on.......

My dear mother was the singlemost profound influence on my life. She modeled the character she wanted her children to exhibit. She was an authentic person, and forthright, fun, funny, quick witted, and forgiving. She was also the quintessential "cool mom". She went along with a joke. One day while in high school when a group of my teenage male friends stopped by our home in a throwback 40's auto all dressed up as Hell's Angels to prank me, my mother invited them all in the house, much to my father's chagrin. We had a lot of laughs and loved to make her laugh. She was pretty sharp too. She would not let you get one over on her. There were many hilarious cicumstances with all the children, as one can imagine. We all had a good laugh one day when she came home with her then BFF, my youngest brother Joe, then 3 years old, when he squealed on her and told my father that she ran through a red light, and the police pulled her over! Her generosity always impressed me. Even though we lived a spartan lifestyle, she always had some money to give if anyone came to the door asking for a donation. Many more stories, many memories, neverending love and admiration. From her third daughter Ariel Andres.

In years gone by, I have many fond memories of Marie while living in Angola by the Bay, Delaware. At that time, I was Maureen's (Marie's daughter) neighbor and to this day her "forever" friend. I can remember Maureen's children, Nick and Andrew, and mine, Jason and Dustin would always light up with excitement when "Grandma" Marie was coming to visit! Marie always had a way of making us feel welcomed and like family in whatever she was doing. She was a real "go-getter" and ready to enjoy life with all who were around her. Marie was a very loving mother and grandmother and I can see where her daughter, Maureen, gets that from. I just know that Marie will be greeted in Heaven by all those who have gone before her and loved her so much, especially her grandson Andrew and my son Dustin. She loved and treasured all of her family dearly. Marie was very fortunate to have had a life surrounded by so much love from so many. My heartfelt condolences to Maureen, Doug and all of Marie's family. God Bless you, Marie

Mom, my friend, confidant, morale booster, advisor, companion and gambling buddy is gone. I was blessed to have her in my life for 65 years. But what I wouldn't give to have her sitting with me now sipping Grand Marnier

My mother finally has company. I know they are both looking down together and watching over us now, and for that, I am thankful. I miss you both. Rest in peace, grandma.
