I only just found out that dear Sybil passed on to her eternal home. I knew her from IBM as well but also from our frequent IBM ladies luncheons that she was so faithful in arranging. She had a heart of gold and a truly generous and sacrificial love in how she cared for her Mom. May dear Sybil rest in eternal love, joy and peace.

Sybil was such a thoughtful and caring person and friend. Although I never worked with Sybil, we met in Florida and became friends after I moved to Georgia, as she stopped by to say hello on her way to visit a close friend north of us. During those visits, Sybil also met my mother and was so thoughtful and kind to her. She truly cared about Mom and sent her cards and brought gifts when she stopped in. Sybil was also totally dedicated to her own mother, and took wonderful care of her until she passed. I am glad to have had Sybil in my life, and I know I am not the only friend who misses her. I hope she knows how much she was appreciated.

My Dear Sybil,
You will always be a light that burns so brightly in my heart. Our joys, our sorrows, our triumphs, and disappointments were all shared and cherished. Our lunch group provided a loving bond that remains today. Rest easy, my friend! Your flame will flourish always.

Sybil and I worked together many years at IBM Tampa. She was the greatest person I ever met. She cared about everyone. She worked really hard every day in Purchasing and then as a trainer which she was a natural. She was so amazing and brilliant. Such a great negotiator. I think she could negotiate with anyone. She was always cool and calm during her negotiations. She got along with everyone. She was very well respected in IBM. After her retirement, I enjoyed our retirement luncheons which she coordinated for all of us ladies. She cared so much about her Mom. She cared for her day and night and was truly an earth angel. We will miss our friend Sybil a sweet kind and very well respected lady. Rest in Peace my friend
Sincerely Your Friend
