Joyce always felt like a sister to us. She was a sweet, caring soul, who loved her family and friends. I will miss our regular phone chats.

I am terrible sorry for the loss of Joyce, my cousin. Our mother's were Gillett sisters.
We enjoyed our childhood together, as Aunt Ouida would visit Grandma every Sunday and Joyce and I would play and swim, and grew to enjoy each other completly.
More than 30 years ago, we made a promise to each other that we would continue to stay in touch weekly and often daily, and this continued until she was unable to speak on the phone.
Her last request for me was to light a candle at St.Micheal's Shrine in Tarpon Springs, and I will continue to honor her request.
Those, who we enjoyed and loved, we can never lose. All those we called cousin and friend, will remain in our hearts forever.
Rest in peace and enjoy Bob and all the others waiting for you.

Going to miss the visits we have had over the past couple of years. Our talks would touch on some family things from the olden days and due to our age difference those talks were interesting.
You never failed to mention your family during the visits. Missing you.

As a little girl I thought you would live forever. I never imagined how hard the day I had to say goodbye would be. I miss you so much already. I can hear your laugh everywhere. I could talk all day about the memories I have of you. They have played over and over in my mind these last few days. So many laughs and special moments. You were my hero. I am forever grateful for the time I had with you. The love you showed me I will never forget. Thank you Grandma for always believing in me, never giving up on me and always being there. I love you grandma. Heaven truly gained an angel when you went home. I know you'll be my guardian angel. I will miss you every day until we meet again. Rest in Heaven Grandma
