Obituary of Mary Louise Rinnier

Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mary Louise “Marylou" (nee Daly) (Cantler) Rinnier was born on July 30, 1945 in Washington, D.C. to Eugene and Mae Daly. Marylou passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at her home in Holiday, Florida. Marylou spent her childhood in Edgewater, MD and attended Annapolis High School. She married Jimmy Cantler in 1966 and gave birth to her beloved daughter, Tina Marie (Cantler) DeAngelo later that year. In 1970 Marylou and Tina moved to Ft Lauderdale, FL where they “grew up” together. Theirs was an amazing relationship of not only mother/daughter but also best friends. She worked for Crown Liquors for many years creating lifelong friendships there. In the late 80’s she eventually realized her dream of becoming an aesthetician and entrepreneur by owning her own skin care salon, Marylou of Ft. Lauderdale. Marylou loved to serve and care for people and this was the perfect way to accomplish that calling. She left her beloved Florida for several years in the 90’s to reside in New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. It was in Delaware where she met and married Larry Rinnier in 1999. They happily moved back to Florida in 2008 and were honored to help raise their pride and joy, granddaughter, Britney. Marylou recently attended Refuge Church in New Port Richey and because of her belief in Jesus as her Lord and Savior we live on with the certainty that we will see her beautiful smile again in Heaven. She was a kind, compassionate and giving person with a wicked, fun sense of humor. She was intensely loyal to her friends and simply loved people. She especially enjoyed her time volunteering with Suncoast Hospice and Feed the Neighbors. It was her joy to spend time with these folks and brighten their days and have them brighten hers. She was also the President of the Key Vista Single Family Board for the past 3 years. Marylou is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Larry Rinnier of Holiday, FL; daughter, Tina Marie DeAngelo and her husband, Philip DeAngelo of Asheville, NC; son-in-law and daughter-in-law, George and AZ Bowdoin; her cherished granddaughter, Britney Bowdoin; and her brother Timothy Daly and his wife, Nancy. Also, left behind are her dearly loved canine companions, Shiloh and her granddog, Cowboy. She is predeceased by both of her parents and her sister, Patricia Daly Heflin. Please join us at a Celebration of Life from 2 - 6 pm on Saturday, January 18th at Key Vista Clubhouse at 2530 Key Vista Blvd, Holiday, FL 34691 with Pastor Ruben Cruz offering blessings at 2:30 pm. There will be a time of sharing memories of Marylou so please bring your favorite stories. Casual attire is encouraged and food and drink will be provided. Flowers may be sent to the Clubhouse address above. Condolences may be made to the family here on this website. To honor the memory of Marylou on a daily basis just follow her example: compliment someone even if you don’t know them, volunteer or give to a favorite charity, get involved in your community, over tip your server, be an encourager and take time to listen to people. Be present and make a difference in someone’s life. “Just think of stepping on shore and finding it heaven, of touching a hand and finding it God’s hand, of breathing new air and finding it celestial, of waking up in glory and finding it HOME.” Don Wyrtzen
